Patrick Vieira has dismissed speculation that Wilfried Zaha could leave Crystal Palace before the transfer deadline.
Zaha, who has played more than 400 games for Palace, has been linked with late summer moves to Chelsea and Arsenal.
The Blues have spent more than £150m on Raheem Sterling, Marc Cucurella, Kalidou Koulibaly and Carney Chukwuemeka this summer.
Chelsea are also close to a £70m move for Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana but intend to bolster Thomas Tuchel’s attacking options and have expressed interest in Zaha.
Arsenal are also eyeing a move for the Crystal Palace hero after failing to sign him in the summer of 2019.
Asked about the speculation linking Zaha to a move from Selhurst Park, Vieira said: “I don’t think any comment is needed on that. I see him training every day and he didn’t mention anything about leaving.
“He always focuses on doing well for the team because he wants to win games for this football club.
“There is a really nice relationship between this football team and Wilfried Zaha that will not end now.”
Zaha’s 433 appearances at Crystal Palace saw twice at Selhurst Park, with the Ivory Coast forward spending a brief stint at Manchester United before returning to south London.
The 29-year-old has had an excellent start to the new season, scoring three goals in three games for Vieira’s Palace.
