Lazio Not Currently in Serious Talks for Any Left-Back

Lazio is unlikely to complete their window with a left-back. They tried to go after prominent names, but they refused. They didn’t have much to spend on their ninth purchase of this summer, radiosi reports.

Maurizio Sarri would have liked to be reunited with Emerson Palmieri. But he joined West Ham for 15 million euros, while they had only proposed a loan. The Biancocelesti Look to Sergio Reguilon, who has moved to Atletico Madrid instead, as Nottingham Forest lured Renan Lodi from Colchoneros.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito made it clear that they did not pursue the Spanish left-back with more conviction Prophet.

“I didn’t want to sign an injured player, as he was due to be out for a month and a half, especially given the World Cup break. We need to keep the locker room calm. We already have four options, because Stefan Radu is left-handed.”

The post adds that the only viable target remaining is Emmanuel Valery. The 23-year-old played his part in his first three Serie A matches with Cremonese. He scored 5 goals and 3 assists in 69 matches with Gregorous. But the capital side can wait for him and sign him for free in 2023 when his contract currently expires. Potential replacements Alex Grimaldo and Marcos Alonso seem out of reach at this point.

The cherry will be on top, but they can just go with Adam Marusic, who is fine. Valery is unknown and unproven, but he showed great activity. He could have the same trajectory as Manuel Lazzari, including the fact that he will have to learn the position as he is a pure right-back.
