The football summer transfer window may only have been closed for a few hours, but attention is now turning to the January 2023 transfer window.

A busy schedule awaits before the World Cup, which could lead to injury chaos among Premier League squads and force managers to dip into the January transfer window.

Players who made their mark at the World Cup could well imagine their name being added to the wish lists of the league’s biggest clubs.

Liverpool could look to add more depth in the middle of the park to cover their injury-prone midfielders, while with question marks over Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech, Chelsea may want to add more quality in attack.

Here are all the important details.
