Everton have started the season without a win in five Premier League games and will be keen to end that run when they host local rivals Liverpool at Goodison Park on Saturday lunchtime.
It wasn’t a disastrous start for Frank Lampard, who has three draws in five games, but with just four goals scored they need to improve if they are to avoid a relegation battle this season.
Liverpool have had an eventful start to the season so far with two wins, two draws and one loss, but the two wins came from recent games so they have built some momentum for the Merseyside Derby.
When do Everton play Liverpool?
The game begins at 12.30pm on Saturday 3 September at Goodison Park.
