After the acts of violence at the TFF, FIFA and UEFA are stepping up to the plate

Following the attack on the Turkish Football Association building by armed men on Thursday, the International Football Association (FIFA) and the European Football Association (UEFA) issued a joint press statement condemning the violent acts committed.

“Although we are relieved to know that there were no casualties, we regret that there are still people capable of committing such violent acts against the life and safety of other human beings. […] FIFA and UEFA condemn these violent incidents and would like to express their full support to the TFF and its staff at this difficult time. Violence is a scourge that cannot be tolerated. Refers to the message of the governing institutions. No victim has been identified and the alleged perpetrators have been brought before Turkish courts.
