Gennaro DiNardo, one of the mediators in the negotiations that brought Khevich Kvaratskhelia to Naples from Georgia, provided background information on the deal.
The agent spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss (Across Everything is Naples) and shed light on the transfer procedures, including Juve’s interest in the promising player.
“He has a lot of adaptability, he plays world football, and everything is going well. Napoli did well by catching him. He played in Russia, which is not the second division.”
Then he evaluated his growth prospects in Parthenobi Colors
“He was born in 2001, so he is still developing on a physical level. He can improve tactically with Luciano Spalletti in Italy.”
Napoli quickly showed interest in the wonderful Georgian kid, beating out other clubs. Spalletti is said to have played a major role in the negotiations.
“Christian Zaccardo was the first to find him, we met the directors Cristiano Giuntoli and Maurizio Micheli. He already boasted of Rubin Kazan and was liked by many clubs. Napoli was the fastest to block him, having already qualified for the Champions League. The coach spoke with him during the negotiations.
Finally, he took up Juventus’ longstanding curiosity in Kvaratskelli.
“Fabio Barracci has seen him. They were in an advanced stage, but it is better for him to move to Naples.”
The winger has scored four goals in five matches so far, starting his football career in style.
