Thomas Tuchel was sacked by chelsea‘s new owners just three months after officially finalizing their takeover.
Chelsea Football Club announced today they parted ways with head coach Thomas Tuchel.
“On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the Club would like to express their gratitude to Thomas and his team for all their efforts during their time at the Club. Thomas will rightfully have a place in Chelsea history having won the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here.
With the new ownership group reaching 100 days since taking over the club and continuing their hard work to move the club forward, the new owners believe now is the right time to make this transition.
The Chelsea coaching staff will support the squad in training and preparing for our upcoming matches as the Club moves quickly to appoint a new head coach.
There will be no further comment until a new head coach is appointed..”
Graham Potter is one of the first to replace the German coach.
