James Milner absent against Tottenham

Jurgen Klopp announced in a press conference, that after a head trauma during Liverpool’s victory over Napoli (2-0) in the Champions League, James Milner will not travel from the Reds to Tottenham on Sunday (5:30 pm). “When you’re on concussion protocol, you’re not available for the next match because you have to go through different phases. He’s fine. He’s available for non-contact training on Monday and full training on Tuesday.”The German coach explained.

An absence that would deny or delay the 36-year-old England midfielder’s 600th appearance in the Premier League. As for Jordan Henderson, unconfirmed, Klopp wanted to be reassured on the condition of the other midfielder: “He trained normally yesterday, so he should be fine. He had something simple but serious enough not to take part in the last match.”
